African art
African art describes moderne and historical painting, sculptures, and visual culture from native or ingenious Africans and African countries, and also African diasporas[1].
The expression of African creative and imagination, such as sculptures, paintings, music, danses, rythms, clothes, etc., is originally related from the culture and the tradition of Africa.

West Africa art influenced most of the time Europe art. West African cultures developed bronze casting for reliefs like the famous Benin Bronze in the 12th–14th centuries. The used metal to decorate palace and royal rooms.

Akan people or Ashanti people used gold and bronze to decorate the stool and throne.
Traditional African religions
Traditional African religions have been extremely influential on African art across different countries. They are using different art in bronze, gold, aluminium, and hood from the theme of religious symbolism, functionalism, etc. They are creating different pieces of art to represent the spiritual powers they believed.

Many African cultures emphasize the importance of ancestors as intermediaries between the living, gods, and the supreme creator, and art is seen as a way to communicate with the pure spirits of ancestors. In reality, Africans are not worship the spirits of evil ancestors but those who share love and protected their people from sickness and enemies.
In the 15th century, when the Christianity arrived in West Africa, especially the Catholic church, it used another form of art different from Protestant church who only believe in Christ as a spirit not a statut.

Traditional music
The traditional music of Africa started from the old times in Africa. This music was given orally, and nobody wrote it. The traditional music of Africa is related first of all to the ancestors religion and the culture.

In the 10th century in the empire of Tado in West Africa, the traditional music was popular because every people of the great Ewe ethnic group, like Fon, Kotafon, Adja, and Ewe people, were together as one people. They are using the traditional instruments made by iron and hood.
The traditional music is also a music that related by the local language.
The traditional singing and chanting of Ashanti people moved through a colorful palette of instruments including water drums, rectangular frame drums, side-blown horns, and brass bands[2]. They are also using the metal instruments and their voice in the local language is the base of their traditional music.
