Activities

She began her literary activity in 2009 with the publication of the book گروهان سوم (The Third Brigade)[2] and continued in the following years with the publication of the books نرگس (Narges)[3]and کیانوش (Kianoosh)[4]

In addition to collections of short and long stories, she has also published collections of articles and selected poems.

During the time of the Ebrahim Raisi[5][circular reference]presidency (2021-2024), she protested against the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance[6][circular reference]'s practice of suppressing writers and severely censoring their works and banning the publication of some of her works, and announced that she would not publish any more works in Iran until the conditions of writers improved. Like her, many writers and translators made a clear statement calling for the publication of books without censorship and free from the regulatory restrictions of the Ministry of Islamic Guidance, and considered freedom of speech, writing and thought to be their right.

In 2022, she founded SD Publications[7] in Austria. And in the same year, the English translation of one of her poetry collections, entitled در رثای هستی (In Praise of Life)[8], was published and made available to readers by Amazon.

She currently lives in Türkiye, and the collection of quatrains, در رثای تبعید (In Praise of Exile), is her most recent work.
