Age discrimination
Age discrimination is the practice of unfairly treating a person or group differently from other people or groups of people based on their age. The practice of age discrimination is facilitated when the person or group in question is unable to or has limited ability to articulate and defend their own rights. This most commonly occurs among people at the extremes of age e.g. unborn persons and the elderly. The term age discrimination encompasses the term ageism.
