Agent Focus

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Agent Focus is an online magazine based in Canberra, Australia, and serves the real estate industry of marketing and technology focused news content. RET (real estate technology) and it's respective REM (real estate marketing) was a relatively new term in 2010, with no formal literature available to the growing real estate technology/marketing professionals. The first publication was created by real estate & media executives Joel Leslie and Kelli Wells, in an attempt to deliver emerging & trending marketing & technology news content to Realtor's.

History and profile[edit]

The bimonthly magazine was started in 2010, when the then Chief Information Officer of the Australian Property Institute, Joel Leslie wanted to facilitate means to provide regular updates of new & emerging technology & marketing solutions for Realtor's, real estate agents, buyers and property managers. Joining forces with Kelli Wells, media executive, they formed a partnership and founded the Agent Focus news business in 2010.

Leslie and Wells launched the Agent Focus website in 2014 to service the growing readership. In the same year, the print publication ceased, leaving the online version as its primary medium.

In 2014 the publication became an online publication[1] and remains largely Australian and United States focused.
