Agora Industry is a Berlin-based think tank with a focus on supporting industrial decarbonization in Germany and beyond. It is largely funded by grants from private foundations and public institutions.[1]
It is part of the Agora Think Tanks, along with Agora Energiewende, Agora Agrar and Agora Verkehrswende. It was spun off from Agora Energiewende in 2021 but retains close links.[2]
Much of Agora Industry's work centers on providing recommendations for transforming the steel, cement and chemicals sectors that are responsible for a large share of global greenhouse gas emissions.[3]
