Agri Sena
Agri Sena is a social organization with its presence in Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri districts (the Mid-North Konkan of Maharashtra) in Maharashtra state, and Nashik districts.[1]Ghorpade, Vijay (2014). Agri Sena as the name suggests advocates for the interests of the Agri community, a developing caste.
The party has also demanded the formation of a Konkan state, consisting of the Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg Districts.[2]
In November 2023, Agri Sena chief Rajaram Salvi resigned as the state BJP vice president and declared support to Shiv Sena.[3]
The founding president of the Agri Sena is Rajaram Salvi.[3]
