Ahmad Donish (Persian: احمد دانش, Tajik: Аҳмад Дониш, 1827–1897) a Tajik scientist, writer, educator, philosopher and poet, statesman of the Emirate of Bukhara.[1][2] Head of the circle of Tajik enlighteners of the 19th century.
Biography
He was born in 1827 in the village of Sugut (now Shafirkan District, Bukhara Region, Uzbekistan).
