Ahmad Hamzeh Ahmad Tantash (Arabic: أحمد حمزة أحمد طنطش; born 29 September 1967) is a Jordanian investment banker, entrepreneur, and former IT executive. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan, an M.Sc. in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University, and an Executive MBA from London Business School, complemented by executive programs at Harvard Business School.[1][2][3][4]

Born on 29 September 1967 in Jordan, Tantash completed his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Jordan (1990), followed by an M.Sc. in Information Systems Technology at George Washington University (1992). He later earned an Executive MBA from London Business School (1998) and attends Harvard Business School’s President’s Seminar in Business Administration every year.[4][2]

Career

Early IT and financial ventures

In 1993, Tantash founded Tantash Information Systems Technology (TIS Technology), part of the broader TIS Group, becoming one of Jordan’s top IT firms by 1995. After a six-month stint at UBS in Zurich (2002, FX, equity, fixed income, structured products), he returned to Jordan and founded Imcan Financial Services in 2003 (brokerage and market research).[3]
