Ahmet Yakut

Ahmet Yakut (March 13, 1914 in Istanbul, Turkey – November 14, 1970) was a Turkish poet and Sufi mystic who lived in a village near Diyarbakır in the 20th century. He exercised an immense influence on Turkish literature, from his own day until the present.
