Aidan Pass

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Aidan Pass is an antiques dealer on the UK TV show Dickinson's Real Deal.

Early life[edit]

Born 1981, he grew up in Dobcross, Saddleworth and attended Hulme Grammar School for Boys and later studied Architecture at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.

Career[edit]

From 2003 Aidan lived in the Bolivian capital La Paz, running volunteer projects.

In 2006, he opened the Cocker, a boutique hotel in a restored townhouse in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, which was featured in Condé Nast Traveller's 2007 Hot List of the world's best new hotels.[1][2] As San Telmo is Buenos Aires' antiques district, he developed contacts within the antiques world, and began to professionalise his interest, advising guests on purchases and providing items for interior design projects.

In 2009 he moved to Cognac, France to restore the Manoir des Sources, an eight bedroom 19th century manor house in the village of Roissac. This project was completed in 2013 and made available for rentals. It was featured in Condé Nast's top 50 new European rental properties in 2013.[3]

Having developed local contacts within the antiques world and begun an extensive taxidermy collection, he moved to London in 2014 to begin selling full-time at East London markets, notably Brick Lane and Spitalfields.

In 2014 he joined the ITV show David Dickinson's Real Deal as a full-time dealer.

Personal life[edit]

Aidan lives between Dalston, East London, and the Manoir des Sources, with his partner Andrew and his twelve year old Bolivian Cocker Spaniel, Rocco.
