Aihaji River is a riverlet that runs from Sukhnag Nala from Tosamaidan to Sangam. Aihaji River is 50 km (31 mi) long and 10 to 50 m (33 to 164 ft). Its water has a high speed (40–50 km/h [25–31 mph]). It irrigates a number of villages including Wahabpora and other villages. It provides clean drinking water from Sukhnag Water Project to the various areas like as Beerwah town, Magam town etc. Aga Syed Rohullah Mehdi, MLA Budgam made a bridge over the river at the village Wahabpora, which connects Wahabpora to Magam. In 2014, this river destroyed all neighbouring crop fields.
