The legend of Aika Ito or Niko no me, which translates to (cat eyes) says that if you come across a black cat with completely black eyes on a blood moon, then Aika Ito is near. Aika Ito is a woman in a long red flowy dress and she has eyes that appear to be cat eyes. She will ask you if you prefer Ude (arms) or Ashi (legs). If you say ude she will cut both your arms off and feed them to the black cat. If you say ashi, she will cut off both your legs and eat them herself. However, if you say neither. She will cut out both your eyes and replace the cat's eyes with them. If you want to survive Aika Ito then when she asks you you prefer Ude or Ashi, you have to compliment her eyes. She will then fade away with the wind.
