On February 18, 2024, Air Serbia Flight 324, operated by an Embraer E-Jet family aircraft, suffered damage after a runway overrun at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, Serbia. The aircraft, registered as OYGDC, was scheduled to fly from Belgrade to Dusseldorf International Airport in Dusseldorf, Germany. Despite the incident, all 106 passengers and crew on board survived without any injuries.

The aircraft overran the runway during takeoff, resulting in significant damage to the fuselage. The door plug was missing, and a hole in the fuselage was covered with plastic sheeting.
