Airmarine Cup

The Airmarine Cup is the creation of Dato’ Ananth S. Nathan is also the President of Malaysia eSports Federation (MESF). Ananth is an avid fan of football. He sincerely feels that football has the power to unite nations and individuals.

The Malaysian football squad, often known as the Harimau Malaya (Malayan Tigers), deserves more worldwide exposure and is aware of their ability to play on a global stage. With that in mind, he accepted the challenge of bringing our local heroes under international scrutiny and standards under his own initiative.

The inaugural of Airmarine Cup was held in 2019, and it was ranked and sanctioned by International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to be hosted in Malaysia. It was inspired by the synergies between AIRMARINE ASIA Sdn Bhd (a logistics company founded by Ananth) and Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).

The Airmarine Cup was intended to be held on a biennial basis once again when the Covid-19 situation is contained worldwide

The Airmarine Cup 2019 was meticulously planned and completed to improve our Nation's FIFA rating.

The following countries competed in the 2019 Airmarine Cup:

  1. Malaysia
  2. Singapore
  3. Afghanistan
  4. Oman

The competition took place in the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Selangor, Malaysia, from 20 to 23 March 2022.
