Ait Tifnout (Tamazight: ⴰⵉⵜ ⵜⵉⴼⵏⵓⵜ | Arabic: ايت تيفنوت) is a Berber Atlas Tribe live in southwestern Morocco near to Toubkal of about 20000 people, living in Tifnout Region in Adrar n' Dern(High Atlas) east Toubkal Mountain. The valley of Tifnout runs through their territory.
Ait Tifnout were in Ait Wawzgit Confederacy. Originally, Ait Tifnout is a Berber tribe belonging to the Masmouda Berber group. Ait Tifnout Speaking Southern Atlas Language called Tachelhit and they still speak it until now.
