Ajei Gopal (born 1961) is an Indian-American businessman and President and CEO of Ansys since January 2017.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Gopal holds a B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay. He graduated in 1982.[4] He also holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.[1][5]
Career
Gopal has been serving as Ansys' CEO since January 2017.[3][1] He has previously worked for Silver Lake, Hewlett-Packard, CA Technologies, Symantec Corporation and IBM.[1][6][5][4]
In May 2022, Carnegie Mellon University's board of trustees elected Gopal as a member.[7][8]
