Akbar-Azam Quadri

Akbar-Azam Quadri are twin brothers and Film Maker, Writer, and Director-duo based in India. They Co-founded Antraal Theatre in 2007. They started their theatre journey with the play 'Mausam Ko Na Jaane Kya Ho Gaya' as writer/director, followed by their work as directors in renowned plays such as 'Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Nai' written by Asghar Wajahat, 'Ek Aur Dronacharya' written by Shankar Shesh. They directed the music video of the song 'Hey Ya' by the renowned band Euphoria sung by Palash Sen.[1] They wrote for famous radio story telling show 'Yaad Sheher' for 92.7 Big FM with Neelesh Misra.[2][3][4][5][6]

They have directed several documentary films & a feature film “Shehzada Ali”.[7] They directed a documentary 'Learning in Exile' based on Tibet for PSBT (Public Service Broadcasting Trust).

Both of them graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia in Mass Media. Akbar Quadri has done certification course from FTII, Pune in cinematography. Azam Quadri was awarded 'Community Fellowship 2008-2009' on a theme of "Social Inclusion" (supported by Community-the Youth Collective, Pravah, New Delhi). They have also co-written the book 'Bas Itnee see Thee Ye Kahani' with Neelesh Mishra. Their film 'Shehzada Ali' Produced by Friday to Friday Entertainers & Media Pvt. Ltd. Later,they worked with Star India Private Limited as creative writer.[8] [9] [10] [11] [12]
