Akbar Golrang

Akbar Golrang, born 12 April 1945, is an Iranian author and film director. He was born in Abadan and has directed over 20 films. In 1972 he qualified as a Film Director from The London Film School. In 1976 he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lund University in Sweden. In 1996 he earned a Master's degree in Library and information science from University of Borås in Sweden, and in 2009 a master's degree in psychology from Lund University. He has worked as a librarian, radio speaker, culture analyst, screenwriter, film director, and film producer in multiple genres in London, Sweden, and Iran.
