The Akeron LP (formerly MHT and MLP) is a missile developed by European missile-maker MBDA. MBDA was chosen by the French government to outfit the Army’s Eurocopter Tiger combat helicopter to replace the AGM-114 Hellfire. The missile has a range of 8 km, and is based on the French Akeron MP (MMP) anti-tank guided missile.[3]
