Akhil Anil (Born 18 November 1997) is an Indian cricketer who currently plays for the Tanzania national cricket team. He is the vice-captain of the Tanzanian national team. Before representing Tanzania, he was a prominent cricketer in India, playing for Kerala for over 10 years. He competed in various state-level age-group tournaments, including U-14, U-16, U-19, U-23, and U-25 categories.
His performances earned him a place in the prestigious Vizzy Trophy and a call-up to represent the National Cricket Academy (NCA), showcasing his potential at a higher level. After transitioning to international cricket with Tanzania, he became a key all-rounder, contributing with both bat and ball in T20 and List A formats.
Professional Career
Apart from cricket, Akhil is a business executive, serving as the Head of Operations at Petrofuel, a leading Oil Marketing Company (OMC) in Tanzania.

Akhil was born and raised in Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. Akhil later moved to Tanzania to pursue opportunities in cricket.
