Akhilesh Reddy Bodugum(born 28 April 2000) is an American cricketer. A right-arm off-break bowler, Akhilesh has played for the U-19 Hyderabad team in Cooch Behar trophy 2018-19,2019-20 and In march 2021 became the first American born cricketer to represent an Indian domestic team when he was named in Hyderabad’s Vijay Hazare trophy squad 2020-2021. Later after few months, at a very early stage in his career, he moved back to his country of birth to pursue his professional cricketing career and was drafted into Team-Atlanta Fire in the inaugural edition of Minor league cricket in the USA. In January 2020 he was invited to the USA national team preparatory camp in Mumbai. He was also a net bowler for the team Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018.
