Akonda is the upcoming fifth studio album by Senegalese-American singer Akon, expected to be released on October 25, 2019, by Akonik Label Group. It will follow the release of his fourth album El Negreeto by three weeks.[2]
Singles[edit]
"Low Key" and "Wakonda" were released as the album's lead singles on July 19, 2019.[3][4] The latter's music video was released in August 2019 and features a cameo appearance from Ghanaian actor and comedian Michael Blackson.[5]
