Al-Masmak(Vehicle)
Al-Masmak is a vehicle created and designed by SAUDI GROUPS[1]. It is a armored personnel carrier(APC) that currently serves the Saudi Arabian Army. The vehicle was first presented at the AAD 2012 under the marketing name "Nyoka Mk2".[1] The vehicle can be adapted to a variety of roles including Ambulance, Anti-Hijacking, Command and Control, and Border patrol. The vehicle protects against Ak-47 rounds and also Russian sniper rounds including 7.62x54mm rounds from the Dragunov.[1] Al-Masmak's maximum payload is 2000 kilograms and it can carry a maximum armament caliber of 25mm. Accessories of the vehicle include Air-Conditioning System, 2 Extract Ventilation Ports, Central Tire Inflating System CIT, Global Positioning System GPS, Radio Integration, Engine, Crew Cabinet, Night Drive Capability, Tires Fire Extinguishing System, Siren and Strobe Lights, Towing Bars, and self-recovery Winch. AL-Masmak can carry fully equipped nine soldiers including gunner in addition to the driver and commander (Total 11).
