Al-Tirmiz Film Productions is a Pakistani television production house. It has produced and aired many television series of various genres on different channels. The house was founded by Brigadier Syed Mujtaba Tirmizi. The production company has produced most content for ISPR the media wing of Pakistan Armed Forces.[citation needed]
"Al-Tirmiz" Meaning[edit]
Al-Tirmiz Films is basically named after Pir Baba Sayyid Ali Tirmizi, a sufi and a warrior. He was born in 908 AH (1502 CE), in Fergana (present-day Uzbekistan), of Sayyid descent, died in AH 991 (1583 CE).[citation needed] More than 150,000 Yousafzai Pashtuns were under Sayyid Ali Tirmizi's command.[citation needed]
Al-Tirmiz Films' first production will be on the life of Sayyid Ali Tirmizi.[citation needed]
