Al Jazeera Academy[1] is an international school in Doha, Qatar. AJA, an IGCSE School, opened in September 2002. It caters for students from 3 years of age up to 18 years of age.[2] The Academy provides three different and separate learning environments for primary students, secondary boy and girl students in separate sides of the building.

Facilities

It is a modern international educational institution that comprises three separate schools within a single campus to cater for all students from Preschool to Year 12. The three schools are:[2]

The Primary School (Preschool - Year 6); The Secondary Girls School (Years 7 - 12); and The Secondary Boys School (Years 7 - 12).

In 2011, AJA removed the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s Diploma Programme. It is now under the British curriculum, IGCSE and AS, for highly motivated students aged 16 to 18.[3]
