Alan Scott

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Alan Scott is Senior Pastor of Dwelling Place Anaheim Church in California, USA.[1] He was the founding leader of the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church in Northern Ireland. Alan is married to worship leader Kathryn Scott.

In 2023, Alan resigned from the Causeway Coast Vineyard following accusations of spiritual abuse.[2][3] Alan then took over the leadership of the Anaheim Vineyard Church, which the Vineyard movement referred to as its 'mother church'.[4] However, Scott was again embroiled in controversy when he took the church and its assets out of the denomination March 2022, leading to court proceedings with the Vineyard movement.[5][6]

According to Premier Christianity Magazine, Scott joined the Vineyard Church in Glasgow in the 1990s, where his brother John Scott was a Vineyard Pastor of the South West Glasgow Vineyard, but had to resign after developing a relationship with a married woman in the congregation.[7]
