Albarradones

 

Albarradones is a rural locality and ejido in the state of Guanajuato, located in the northwestern part of the León municipality. It borders the municipality of Silao to the southeast, situated about 20 km (12 mi) from the municipal seat and approximately 300 km (186 mi) northwest of Mexico City. Its approximate coordinates are 21°02′N 101°30′W, and it has an average altitude of about 1,845 meters (6,053 ft) above sea level.[1] The region where Albarradones is located is part of the extensive Lerma-Santiago River basin in the Bajío, characterized by mostly flat terrain dedicated to agriculture.
