Albert Henry Newman (August 25, 1852 – 1933) was an American church historian.

Biography

He was born on August 25, 1852, in Edgefield County, South Carolina.[1] He died in 1933 in the United States.[1]

Education

He completed his bachelor's degree at the Mercer University in 1871. [1] He received a Doctor of Laws degree from the Southwestern Baptist University in 1883. He died in 1933 in the United States.[1]

Career

He served as the Pettingill professor of church history from 1880 to 1881 at the Rochester Theological Seminary.[1] He later served as a professor of church history at the Baylor University from 1913 to 1921.[1] He is also listed as a contributor to the Encyclopædia Britannica Eleventh Edition.[2]
