Things to do[edit]

Albert McGowan Park is relativity small in size compared to other city parks around it. Despite this, it houses a spray park, a playground, a grass field, a few hills great for sledding in the wintertime, 3 baseball diamonds, 1 mini soccer field, a small-sized pond, and Hal rogers. Hal Rogers is a facility within the park that has public bathrooms but also can be rented for group uses. There is a decent-sized parking lot with it only can be accessed from 7 am to 11 pm. Even though it's a small-sized park, there many access points with trails going throughout the park.
