Albert Whytall
Albert Ernest Whytall (born December 1887 in Ontario[1], died November 26, 1941 in Parry Sound, Ontario), known as "Ab", was a Canadian politician who ran in two federal elections. He was also a charter member of the Parry Sound Rotary Club on November 23, 1936 and held the inaugural position of chairman of horticultural committee.[2]
Federal politics[edit]
In the 1926 federal election, he was the only opponent of the victorious Conservative candidate in the Algoma West riding in northern Ontario and ran as a Liberal Labour Progressive candidate. He won 4,187 votes, or 37% of the total.
In the 1930 election in a rematch, Ab lost again.
