Alecness

Alexandre Ivanov, known professionally as Alecness, is a Bulgarian-French musician and songwriter who grew up in Sofia, Bulgaria. Around the age of 20 he moved to France where he started playing on the local open mike scene and started defining his versatile songwriting style. Over the past 12 years, Alecness lived in Brussels, Washington DC and Vienna, Austria where he held different corporate positions to support his art.

His songs have been signed by independent music publishing companies like Big Yellow Dog, Streets Music and Merf Music Group and have been optioned for various motion pictures and played on independent radios worldwide.

He recorded his first EP entitled Diamonds From The Sky as well as the single Bluebird In My Heart in 2016. His song “The Hum" has been selected as a finalist by the 2018 International Songwriting Competition listening committee in the "AAA (Adult Album Alternative)" category. He released his first LP called Vienna Stories in January 2020. Alecness is also the author of the book Hidden Artists, a holistic approach on creativity. The book was an Amazon #1 bestseller in the categories of Business of Art and Psychology of Creativity and Genius.
