Dr HARIS PARENGAL
Haris Parengal (born 7 March 1988) is an Indian Biotechnologist and administrator, known for his role in conservation and education. Haris Parengal has been known for his research and teaching experience in the field of Biology. His role in introducing Water management and further developing high-yielding varieties of coconut and Plant Tissue Culture Products were highly commended by his colleagues from various Alma maters. He is the founder of the Centre for Tropical Biodiversity Conservation-CTBC
In 2018, he received his research graduation from the Honorable Vice-president of India. Mr. Venkaiah Naidu[1]
Personal Life
Dr. Haris Parengal is married to Afra TT whom he met in 2015, they were both doing research at Gandhigram Rural University as part of her ASPIRE Research Fellowship by the Government of Kerala. They live in a village called Ottathara, Malappuram, Kerala. Their daughter Baby Aleena is currently studying at Base 1 in Markazul Uloom English Senior Secondary School, Kondotty.
