Alekz Londos (born 9 September 1980) is an American environmental activist, photojournalist, and activist.[3]
Environmentalism
In July 2014, Londos organized 30 volunteers to remove 1000 vehicle tires from the California redwood forest within 5 days.[4] Alekz Londos saw a heap of tires while riding his bicycle from the Cultivate of Eden swimming gap in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in July 2014. He at first thought there were almost 30 tires and it would take a couple of hours to pull them out of a soak ravine, but there were much more car tires. While researching land records last July, Londos discovered that the property was abutted by Roaring Camp Railroads, the City of Santa Cruz's Pogonip, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Caltrans’ Highway 9, Paradise Park Masonic Club and Santa Cruz County property. The Roaring Camp Railroad crosses Highway 9 on a trestle just above the site. Londos, after talking with city hall, was told it was county land, and they went there in a province vehicle to arrange the cleanup. Londos at that point utilized Facebook to marshal almost 30 volunteers and spent five days bringing the tires up the slope. On the morning of the 6th day, the supervisor of Paradise Park arrived and told them to halt since they were on Paradise Park property. The volunteers could harm themselves and Paradise Park could be obligated, the manager told them.

2016 July, Going to Iraq and volunteering in Syrian refugee camps during the ISIS take over.
Londos traveled alone to Northern Iraq to do Humanitarian work[7][8]
2020 August, Londos Saves 5 homes from Santa Cruz fires
Londos saved homes from the fire in the Santa Cruz mountains.[9]
2020 November, Micro Tiny Homes Project
Londos singlehandedly created the project - Micro Tiny Homes, starting in November 2020[10] [11][12]
2021 August, Londos saved homes from the Northern California Caldor Fire
Londos went to the Caldor Fire near California county Somerset to report on and help out with saving lives and property[13][14][15][16][17]
2021 December, Helping homeless people and raising awareness toward flooded homeless encampment in Santa Cruz
Londos handed out raincoats, black trash bags meant as makeshift raincoats, and used a megaphone to help and warn homeless people in the Benchlands area of San Lorenzo Park. Londos also flew a drone over the large neighborhood of tents to raise awareness with video footage. [18][19]

Londos has done a number of public speeches regarding journalism, disaster relief work, humanitarian missions, environmental projects, activism or climate change.
2018 April, Vienna, The Model United Nations Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development(MUNESD)[2]
Londos was invited to speak at the MUNESD in Vienna. The MUNESD conference from 22nd-27th April 2018 gives members insight in the field of environment, sustainability, biodiversity and global climate agreements the opportunity to talk about these significant focuses on international and scientific scale and create their ideas in a worldwide resolution. The occasion will be organized for youth interested about the field of sustainability, environment and the work of United Nations Environment Programm (UNEP) as well as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate change and other organizations.

Londos spoke at a class of aspiring advertising, journalism and public relations majors. Londos spoke about storm chasing and survival gear[20]
