Alen Simonyan (Ալեն Սիմոնյան) (born January 5, 1980), politician, public person. Spokesman and board member at Civil Contract party, also editor-in-chief at Araratnews.am and "ARARAT" magazine.
Biography
Alen Simonyan was born on January 5, 1980, in Yerevan.
- 1995–1996 – As part of the KVN team of the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, he became a champion of the league organized by Sharm company.
- 2000–02 – Served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
- 2002–03 – Assistant of the president of the Center-Davitashen Court of First Instance and office secretary.
- 2003–04 – Human resources manager at Converse bank.
- 2004–10 – Founded and owned the first open "Sicily" Maf-club.
- He hosted "Felichita" and "It Can't be true" radio programs at City FM radio station.
- 2007–12 – Director, actor, and host cooperated with Armenia, TV5, and Yerkir Media TV companies, engaged in music producing.
- Music producer Alen Simonyan has made several musical, political, and campaign videos, and acted as linear producer of Ala Bala Nica[1][2] film.
- 2011 has served as a director of "No comment" play.
- 2012 became editor-in-chief of "Ararat" journal.

- 1986–96 Secondary school № 20 after Dzerzhinsky.
- 1996–2000 Yerevan State University Faculty of Law.
- 2008 participated in the training courses on PR and Political Technologies organized by the European Education & Research Center.
- 2013–15 Faculty of Political Sciences of the National Academy of Armenia.
Political and social endeavors
- 2011 has been engaged in public social and political activities, authored a number of publications. In the same year, Simonyan has been a candidate in municipal elections from "Hello, Yerevan" bloc.
- 2013 was an organizer of the "Car free" civil action against the rise of public transport prices.
- 2013 has been the founder and editor of Ararat Media Group LLC (later known as Media News LLC), which includes araratnews.am website and "Ararat" journal.
- 2013 is a governing board member of Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract (Armenia) political organization[3]
- May 30, 2015 was elected a board member of Civil Contract (Armenia) party
- June 17, 2015 was elected spokesman of the party.
