Alena Afanaseva is a Russian businesswoman, financial analyst and editor. She is the CEO and founder of crypto media outlet, BeInCrypto, which was launched in 2018.[citation needed]

Afanaseva worked on the first Russian financial journal, Currency Speculator.[citation needed]

From 2011, Afanaseva moved to Libertex as Product Manager and Senior Analyst of the Libertex news feed. In 2018, during the ICO boom, Afanaseva launched BeInCrypto, a cryptocurrency media outlet. During the court case against Sam Bankman-Fried, BeInCrypto was one of 23 websites he could use in the run up to his trial.[1]

Afanaseva was born in the Soviet Union on September 8, 1982. She currently resides in Argentina with her husband, Vladimir Kozlov, CEO of Forex Club Group and her two daughters from a previous marriage.[2][not in citation given]
