Alena Afanaseva is a Russian businesswoman, financial analyst and editor. She is the CEO and founder of cryptocurrency media outlet, BeInCrypto, which was launched in 2018.[citation needed]
Afanaseva worked on the first Russian financial journal, Currency Speculator.[citation needed]
From 2011, Afanaseva moved to Libertex as Product Manager and Senior Analyst of the Libertex news feed. In 2018, during the ICO boom, Afanaseva launched BeInCrypto, a cryptocurrency media outlet. During the court case against Sam Bankman-Fried, BeInCrypto was one of 23 websites he could use in the run-up to his trial.[1]
Afanaseva was born in the Soviet Union on September 8, 1982. She currently resides in Argentina with her husband, Vladimir Kozlov, CEO of Forex Club and her two daughters from a previous marriage.[2][not in citation given]
