Alert 360 Home Security[1] as of September 10, 2018 (formerly known as Central Security Group, Inc. and Guardian Security Systems) is the 4th largest home and business security company in the United States. The company provides home security system installations along with service and alarm monitoring for security systems, energy management and home automation services. Headquarters for Alert 360 is in the Cityplex Tower #1, Tulsa, Oklahoma and has a large customer service facility in Irving, Texas - a Dallas suburb. The company serves customers in 26 states including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

In 2020, the company was ranked number fourth largest security company on SDM Magazine's SDM 100 List based on its United States residential customers of December 31, 2019 among U.S. companies that provide electronic security systems and services to residential customers that report to the SDM Magazine.[2][3][4]

Alert 360 was founded in 1973 as Guardian Security Systems, and as such is one of the oldest alarm providers in the United States. After rebranding Guardian Security Systems inside Oklahoma and Central Security Group outside the company is known as Alert 360.[5] After adding an Alert 360 brand to its line-up in 2015, the company officially rebranded to Alert 360 in September 2018.[6] From 2010 through 2018, the company acquired several smaller security companies.[7][8][9][10][11]

  • In November 2010, Summit Partners acquired Central Security from Great Hill Partners LLC.[12]
  • In July 2014, Richard Ginsburg, former CEO of Protection 1 and Guardian International was named CEO and President of Central Security Group and a member of the company's board of directors.[13]
  • In October 2014, CSG completed a refinancing and expansion of its senior secured credit facilities in the amount of $325 million, including a $50 million revolver.[14]
  • In May 2016, the company received the #9 ranking in the SDM Top 100 U.S. Security Companies.[15]
  • In May 2017, the company received the #6 ranking by residential subscribers in SDM Top 100 U.S. Security Companies.[16]
  • In May 2020, the company received the #5 ranking by residential subscribers in SDM Top 100 U.S. Security Companies.[17]
  • In September 2018, Alert 360 obtained the prestigious Five Diamond Monitoring Center designation from The Monitoring Association.[18]
