Biography[edit]

Alessandra Acciai, born on 12 December 1965, is an Italian actress known for her work in cinema, theatre, and television. Born in Rome, she made her acting debut in 1987 in both cinema and television with Lamberto Bava's Il gioko, which was broadcast in 1999. In 1994, she was nominated as the best new actress of the year for her role in Anni ribelli. Acciai has since appeared in numerous films, often directed by young Italian directors, including La vera vita di Antonio H. (1995), Uomini senza donne (1996), and La classe non è acqua (1997).

Acciai has also been prominent in television, notably in the role of Cora Torrini Dupré in the Incantesimo series (1998–2001). In the 1990s, she had a successful theatrical career as well.
