Alethea AI is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) company which creates Interactive and Intelligent NFTs based on a decentralized iNFT protocol which utilises blockchain technology. Its first application, the Noah’s Ark Metaverse, is regarded as the world's first Intelligent Metaverse.[3][4] As the original creator of the Intelligent NFT standard, Alethea is building a decentralized protocol that allows users to create, train and earn from their Intelligent NFTs.[5][6][7][8]
History[edit]
The company was founded based on the concept of NFTs that would come to life, by the CEO Arif Khan.[9][10][11] This concept of intelligent NFTs was first published via Andrew Steinwold’s, Zima Red Newsletter in April 2021.[12][13][14] This concept combines artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to turn NFTs into AI personalities which can interact with the user and have multiple traits that correspond to their use and therefore become more intuitive for the human users.[15][16][17][18]
The first virtual character as an iNFT, Alice, was auctioned in June 2021 at Sotheby's working with the artist, Robert Alice, for USD $478,800.[19][20] Such iNFTs are able to access open source as well as in house built AI models via Alethea’s protocol to activate their interactive properties.[21][22] For this process, users first have to purchase a Personality Pod NFT from Alethea and train it on their platform.[23][24][25][26]
