Alex French (cricketer)
Alex Maxime French (born 23 July 2007) is an English cricketer who plays for Surrey County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman and right arm medium fast bowler.[1]
Career
French was educated at Cranleigh School.[2] He signed a professional contract with Surrey County Cricket Club in July 2025.[3] French made his List-A cricket debut for Surrey against Leicestershire on 6 August 2025.[4]
French toured South Africa with England U19 in 2025.[5] In December 2025, he was named in the England squad for the 2026 Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup, helping the team to the final.[6]
