Alexander Peter Jenkins (born 15 January 1993) is an American football defensive end who is currently a free agent. Originally from Bath, England, he played college football at the University of the Incarnate Word.
Professional career
New Orleans Saints
Jenkins entered the NFL via the International Player Pathway Program and was picked up by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent.[1] He remained a part of the Saints practice squad and offseason program until after 2018 when he wasn't re-signed.
New York Giants
On 6 May 2019 Jenkins was signed by the New York Giants.[2] He was waived/injured on August 3, 2019 and placed on injured reserve.[3] He was waived on August 13, 2019.
