Alex Landi (born September 28, 1992), is an American actor and model of Korean and Italian descent born in New York City. Alex played professional tennis and double-majored in economics and finance at the University of Delaware before pursuing acting, training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and the Film Institute in New York. From a very young age he trained in Tae Kwon Do and in early 2018 he traveled to China where he trained extensively in martial arts, stage combat, and weaponry with one of the world's most renowned martial arts teams.
On September 6, 2018, it was announced that Alex was cast on Grey's Anatomy, Season 15, as Dr. Nico Kim, the series' first gay male surgeon. His character became an instant favorite on the show landing him his first feature spread in WWD in September 2018  followed by a feature cover in for the February 2019 issue of Attitude Magazine.
