Alex Munt is an independent Australian filmmaker.[1] and film studies academic[2]. He is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Australia.[3]

Munt's creative works have been screened and exhibited in Australia and internationally at festivals and galleries including SXSW Film Festival[4], Sydney Film Festival[5] and the Revelation Perth International Film Festival[6]
