Alex R. Chapman was a Research Scientist at the Western Australian Herbarium from 1990 to 2014.[1] His research interests include the systematics of the plant families Ericaceae and Fabaceae: Mimosoideae, and in biodiversity informatics. He is currently a botanical consultant [2].
He obtained a Masters Prelim. from the Sydney University in 1986 and a Postgrad Diploma in Computer Science at Murdoch University in 1990, and has since published papers and books in both fields.
