Alex Taubes
Alex Taubes is an American politician, debater and law student who is currently running for State Representative of Connecticut's 101st District.[1]
During college he debated for the Boston University Debate Society, a member of the American Parliamentary Debate Association (also known as APDA), and accomplished what he is, perhaps, best known for: he was the second debater in the history of the league to win the Team of the Year Award, the National Championship, and the Speaker of the Year award in the same competitive season, he was also the second debater in history to have two separate teams in the top five Teams of the Year.
He now attends Yale University Law School, and is campaigning for his first elected office.
