Alexander Mebius (born 1985) is a Swedish philosopher whose main research interests are in philosophy of science, philosophy of medicine, and epistemology.
Career
Mebius's doctoral work was supervised by John Cantwell, Sven Ove Hansson, and Jeremy Howick. He publicly defended his thesis, with the title "Philosophical controversies in the evaluation of medical treatments: With a focus on the evidential roles of randomization and mechanisms in Evidence-Based Medicine," in March 2015, with Julian Reiss as opponent.
