Alexander Paterakis (born 1987, Skokie, Illinois) and declared Democratic candidate in the 2018 Illinois gubernatorial election.[1] Paterakis has been living in Illinois since childhood. Alex is also an entrepreneur and small business owner.[2][3][4]

Alex attended Adlai E Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire IL , Alexander is a Structural Engineer graduate from Purdue University.
