Alexander Zingman
Alexander Zingman (Born on 26.11.1966) - Honorable Consul of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the Republic of Belarus, Businessman.[1]
For 20 years he has been working on the African continent, developing relationships between Belarus and African countries, dealing with projects in various fields: agriculture, logistics, mining, infrastructure construction.[2]
Zingman implemented different projects in the construction of infrastructure facilities such as bridges, roads, buildings for various purposes, as well as hospitals, social housing, hotels and resorts. Also engaged in investment in agricultural projects. In particular, being the head of Aftrade company, he supplies Belarusian agricultural machinery to the countries of the African region from the following manufacturers: MAZ, MTZ, Gomselmash, Lidagroprommash, Bobruiskagromash.[2]

• Alexander Zingman was born on November 26, 1966 in Minsk[3]
• His father was a civil engineer. Mother - Physiotherapist
Military Service
• 1983 - 1985 - Zingman did military service in the Soviet army at the Transcarpathian military district.[3]
Education
• 1985 - 1989 - Zingman studied at the Belarusian National Polytechnic University, the faculty of robots and robotic systems, obtaining a bachelor's degree and receiving a specialty "robotics engineer".[3]
• 1991 - 1995 - studied business marketing at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Received a master's degree.[3]
Career
• Since July 2018, he has been officially appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the Republic of Belarus.[1]
• On January 17, 2019, within the framework of the official visit of the President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa to the Republic of Belarus, a solemn ceremony of opening the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the Republic of Belarus, headed by Alexander Zingman, took place.[1] [4]
• In the course of his business and consular activities, he has met with top officials of African states, in particular with President of Zambia Edgar Lungu, President of Mozambique Filipe Nusi, President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta, President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa and many others.
Projects in Africa
• In 2020, with the help of Alexander Zingman, a successful project was launched to supply Belarusian agricultural machinery to the Republic of Zimbabwe. The official ceremony dedicated to the launch of a large-scale agricultural project was also attended by President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Petr Aleksandrovich Parkhomchik, as well as representatives of government agencies, diplomatic and business circles of Zimbabwe and Belarus.[5]
• Zingman was also directly involved in the creation of the Bison Agro Machinery service center, which provides warranty and service support for Belarusian equipment, as well as training local specialists in operation and repair. On the basis of the service center, classrooms are equipped, where, under the guidance of Belarusian specialists, local specialists of various profiles are trained at the highest level.[6]
• Currently, a Zingman`s project for the supply of Belarusian-made buses for the municipal needs of African countries and the Middle East. In particular, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport is interested in purchasing modern buses designed specifically for the African climate, produced in the Republic of Belarus.[7]
Other activities
• Zingman organized the first Belarusian-African Forum "Belarus and Africa: New Horizons", which took place on June 6-7, 2017 in Minsk. The Forum was attended by representatives of official and business circles of more than twenty African countries: heads of ministries, large companies and banks, as well as business representatives.[8]
• Made a great personal contribution to the organization and preparation of the first Russia-Africa summit, which was held on October 24, 2019 in Sochi, Russian Federation. The event was also attended by heads of African states, representatives of Russian, African and international business and government agencies, as well as representatives of integration associations of the African continent.
Personal life
• Wife - Elizaveta Denisevich - marketing director of the Minsk restaurant "Falcone".[3]
• Alexander has 4 children: Maxim, Denis, David, Margarita.[3]
