Alexandra Lange
Alexandra Lange is an architecture critic who writes the Critical Eye column for Curbed.[1] She also writes for the New Yorker,[2] Architect Magazine,[3] Slate Magazine, and Design Observer.[4] She is based in New York City.
She cites Ada Louise Huxtable as a major influence.[5] She wrote, in reference to Huxtable: "Few practitioners of criticism meant to be critics. Criticism happened to them, through a combination of luck and outrage, at moments in cities when building outstripped sense."[6]
