Alexey Dmitrievich Rogozin (Russian: Алексей Дми́триевич Рого́зин; born 21 September 1983) is a Russian businessman, currently working as the Director of Nagatinskaya Transportation hub in Moscow.
Previously he was the Vice-President of Russian United Aircraft Corporation and the head of Ilyushin Aviation Complex.[1].
Career
In 2006 Alexey Rogozin along with Maria Gaidar and Alexey Navalny became one of the leaders of Youth Public Chamber of Russia[2].
In 2012-2017 he served as the General Director of Alexin Chemical Production Complex near Tula. While there he was also responsible for the ecological program and took part in field work to liquidate deposits of explosives threatening the safety of citizens of Alexin[3].
From 2017 to 2019 he served as the Vice-President of state-owned United Aircraft Corporation responsible for Russian transport category aviation[4]. He was also the head of Ilyushin Aviation Complex[5]. During this time he managed to start the Il-276 (also known as Il-214) program[6] and prepare the first Russian post-Soviet era transport aircraft Il-112 for its first flight and tests[7]. Under his management, the turboprop aircraft Il-114 was also developed[8].
After his resignation in 2019, rumors spread that Alexey Rogozin might join Airbus[9], but this was not confirmed and he was appointed[10] the head of Nagatinskaya transportation hub developed by Kievskaya Square - the largest Russian commercial real estate holding[11]. He is considered to be one of Russia’s leading experts and managers in the field of construction[12].
Alexey Rogozin is also the author of several scientific papers on polymer composite materials[13] and chemical production[14]
