Alfa Ebooks Manager is a computer program for managing e-book library on Microsoft Windows operating system.
Features[edit]
Alfa Ebooks Manager allows to create an electronic catalog of books. For each book in the database, a book card is created. It contains various fields, like book title, author, publisher, series, ISBN, publication date, number of pages, etc. Users can create their own fields, as well as assign tags and genres to a book. The program also allows to sort and find books by various parameters.
Library design in Alfa Ebooks Manager can be customized. The program provides several templates for representing a list of books and allows to change the color scheme and arrangement of control panels.
The program allows to work with both electronic and printed books. E-books can be imported automatically from the hard drive with their metadata extracted. All popular e-book formats (PDF, MOBI, EPUB, AZW3, FB2, TXT, DJVU, CBR / CBZ, MP3 and M4B) are supported. E-books can be opened for reading in built-in book viewer. An audio player for audio-books is also available. Besides, the program provides tools for editing metadata, managing book files, converting book formats, updating book metadata from Internet sites (Amazon, Google Books and others), importing and exporting book lists.
Alfa Ebooks Manager is used for both home and small business electronic libraries. It provides a web interface that allows to access the library in local network. Using the web interface users can browse the library and search for books, download books and read them in a web browser. Additionally OPDS server allows to access the library from various e-readers or e-book reading applications.
